Old Elk Wheated Bourbon 5 Year Old This Wheated Bourbon is proofed with Old Elk's Slow Cut process which results in a fuller, deeper, and smoother spirit. The expression has won several awards, including a Gold Medal at the New York International Spirits Competition. The nose opens with oak, toffee, vanilla ice cream, caramel, and floral notes with a touch of amaretto. Cream, toffee, vanilla, toasted almonds, and clove are on the palate. Finishes smooth and slightly warming with caramel and milk chocolate notes.
