Goslings Papa Seal Single Barrel Bermuda Rum 2020 Release

Papa Seal Returns. In 1806 James Gosling was sent out to sea by his father with a hold full of Wines and Spirits headed towards Virginia. After the charter on the ship ran out James had to settle on Bermuda, where he opened a Wine and Spirits shop. Upon his return to England in 1824 he set up a shop with his brother Ambrose, a shop the Goslings maintain to this day. Their first Rum was produced decades later, in 1863, called the Black Seal — a Rum that is synonymous with Bermuda, where it's produced. Today, the 7th generation Goslings lead the family business, in Bermuda, and are the largest exporter of any Bermuda made product, as well as the only company that blends and bottles on said island. Named after the patriarch, president, and CEO Malcolm "Papa Seal" Gosling, this single-barrel expression is the second incarnation of their glorious range-topping Rum.
