The Macallan A Night On Earth: In Scotland
A very limited release that celebrates the joy of the New Year. Ask any Whisky lover and they'll tell you The Macallan is a classy gentleman. The distillery by the river Spey has been making Whiskies since 1824 and they sure do know a thing or two about making great Scotch. The distillery stands on a ridge above the River Spey and it got its name from an ancient church that had been burnt down in the 15th century. They have two "secrets" up their sleeve: top secret specially cultured yeast for the fermentation, and the smallest stills within the Scotch industry. The Macallan A Night On Earth: In Scotland is a very special and very limited release that was inspired by Scotland’s traditional Hogmanay festivities that take place on New Year. It’s collaboration with a French-Japanese illustrator Erica Dorn whose work you might know from Wes Anderson’s movies. The Whisky comes from their exceptional American and European oak Sherry seasoned casks, along with American ex-bourbon barrels.
