The distillery carries the name of a nearby Rosendale mine that’s the source of crystal-clean agua that comprises the DNA of every Jane’s Spirit – and back in the day, the limestone that came out of that place built the Empire State Building as well as Brooklyn Bridge. And the water isn’t the only thing sourced locally – all the grains come from nearby farms. Eco-friendly booze, baby! This one is extra-special though. For Widow Jane Decadence 2020 Edition they picked some of their most awesome Bourbons aged 10 and up for a special blend. Then they shook hands with Crown Maple – the makers of premium maple syrup and various other sugary and syrupy delights. The deal was to hop over to their organic farm in Hudson Valley and snatch some of those barrels they use for their artisanal maple syrup. Then they finished the aforementioned blend in those babies.
