An award-winning and respected smoky Single Malt from India with notes of exotic fruit. The distillery's name — Amrut — comes from Indian mythology, translating as “Elixir of Life” from Sanskrit. Perfect, right? The distillery was founded in 1948. But while other local distilling shops in India were focused on low-cost production, the entire history of Amrut has been a story of improvement, quality, and taste. They really care, and that shows in all of the progress and growth they have experienced over the years. Today, they produce a range of eleven core Whiskies and a few special editions, all tasty-good.
