Glenturret 'Gordon & MacPhail' 2005 / 14 years old 53.7%

Distilled at the Glenturret distillery in the Highland's of Scotland, this limited edition release was bottled from a single refill ex-sherry hogshead cask. After 14 years of maturation, this whisky carries some of the signature tastes found from the distillery, such as orange marmalade, toffee apple and golden syrup. The aroma and taste are both rich and full, with hints of toasted oak spice, dark chocolate and again more dark sugary notes (brown or demerera sugar).
