Penderyn 'Peated' Welsh Single Malt 46%

Distilled at the foot of the iconic Brecon Beacons in the south of Wales, this peated expression from Penderyn boasts some rather flash and streamlined new packaging. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels before a finishing period in ex-peated whisky casks selected from Islay, the nose is sweet with a delicate aromatic smoke. These characteristics develop into the palate minlging with hints of vanilla, green apple and a refreshing citrus lift which then lingers into the finish.
