Designing for Competition & Evaluation May 17, 18 & 19, 2025

Classes are held from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Designing for Competition and Evaluation was created specifically for successful and experienced floral designer who is seeking to challenge themselves, sharpen their skills, grow to a higher level as floral designer and receive recognition for their design skills. It's one of the flower arrangement short courses that is a pathway for designers planning to enter a floral design competition or take a floral design evaluation.  Floral Designing in competition is a bit like running a marathon. Anyone who is in reasonable physical condition can run. But, to successfully run a full marathon requires explicit training and practice. Trying to run a marathon without preparation can be a discouraging and bitter experience. Designing for Competition and Evaluation is your training program. It will not guarantee that you will “win the race”, but this program will fully prepare you to “run a good race”. AIFD-accredited designers, Leanne Kesler, David Kesle
