We ended up spending the next 9 nights in the hospital where we found out that she has a very rare autoimmune disease that was attacking her kidney’s. We found out this rare disease is ANCA vasculitis causing glomerulonephritis. Along with this diagnosis, she has started having other health issues related to it. We fight high blood pressure everyday, she now has hyperparathyroidism, and stage 4 kidney disease. Over the last year, we’ve been in and out of the hospital and moved her care up to Cincinnati Children’s.
