My goal is to make pots that are not only functional but also beautiful. I want to be able to share parts of myself through my pottery as a way to connect to whoever uses my pieces. I use a lot of found material, specifically wild clays from Pennsylvania and now Vermont. Being able to add these to my pots is a way to bring the user on the journey that I took to get these materials. For instance the wild clay from Pennsylvania was dug at the same spot my father and I would always go fishing at. He would fish and I would play in the mud. It's the happiness I get from making these pots that I wish to share. (3”H x 2.75”W)
