Mohawk Receiver 2.5 x 3/4

This version of our 2.5 Mohawk Hitch Mount is designed for heavy-duty truck owners who want the versatility to run either 7/8" or 3/4" tow shackles. To fit both sizes, the shackle mount is made narrower to match the jaw opening of a 3/4" size shackle, which results in a slightly lower working load limit compared to a dedicated single-size mount. The Mohawk 2.5 x 3/4 is warm forged using 6082 aluminum with the grain flow orientated to maximize the strength of your connection point providing a work load limit of 15,000 pounds. This higher quality and higher cost 6082 aluminum also has better mechanical properties and better corrosion resistance compared to 6061. Two 5/8 inch hitch pin holes allow for two receiver mounting positions increasing compatibility with any 2.5 inch hitch package. The third 5/8 inch hitch pin hole allows you to rotate the receiver 90 degrees for recovery and towing versatility.
