Wall Module in Rosewood, Carlo Hauner, 1950s - Lot 373
Description Made entirely from Brazilian Rosewood, known as Jacaranda, this module features a sleek and minimalist design that can either be used floating or embedded in the wall. The manufacturing seal is located on the back of the module. Please note that the metal legs shown in the image were used only for photography purposes and do not come with the piece. This wall module is part of a room set that includes a dresser and a double bed with a headrest, as depicted in one of the images (pieces are sold separately). You acquired this set from a residence in Teresópolis, a renowned Modernist city located two hours away from Rio de Janeiro. The design of this piece reflects Carlo Hauner's style during the 1950s, characterized by the abundant use of rosewood and clean lines, typical of Brazilian Modernism of that era.
