Georg Jensen Bottle Cap Bottle Opener

A bottle opener in the form of a bottle cap.  This novel brass and stainless steel piece was made by the renowned Danish silversmith; Georg Jensen.  This is quite a departure from the normal pieces one comes to expect from this luxury company with an eye for more serious pieces.  However, all the hallmark quality that is found in the company’s pieces are present here.  It is very tactile in the hand, and very easy and satisfying to use. There is a magnetic element that also helps to retain the removed lid for easy disposal. Made in Denmark in 1981.  This example comes in its original box.
