S.T. Dupont Gold Plated Lacquered Table Lighter

A large, gold plated table lighter lacquer painted, made by the French company S.T. Dupont.  Probably the finest name in the world of lighters, this prestigious company recently celebrated its 140th anniversary.   The body of this very handsome lighter is painted with a blue enamel that is very hard wearing and beautoful on the eye, and is of the highest quality finish. This is a butane lighter, for which the gas is still available to purchase.  The lighter is in excellent condition, with some light scratches to the body.  Made in France, the piece dates circa 1970's and is complete with the original box.
