NC- Herald Cabernet Sauvignon

One of our customer favorite, private label wines! The Alexander Valley AVA is capable of growing a wide range of grape varieties but Cabernet Sauvignon is considered a standout. Alexander Valley wines show a rich, fleshy mouthfeel and a high degree of lushness. The gravelly, alluvial soils of the region also tend to impart a rich, chocolate note to the Cabernet grown there. Wines from this region offer easy drinkability and accessibility and are perfect for casual dining. Veteran winemaker Nick Goldschmidt is based in Alexander Valley and specializes in producing delicious Cabernet Sauvignon. Herald is his latest release in getting the word out on this terrific grape growing AVA.   The aromas embrace you with luscious figs, black cherries, and delicate violets. On the palate, an intense experience unfolds with matured blueberries, plums, hints of baking spices, and a touch of mocha. This Cabernet Sauvignon, deep and opulent, concludes with refined tannins and notes of toasted oak.
