(20-28 days) The classic round radish. Roots are rich, bright, scarlet and average 1”. Flesh white, crisp and tender. Grows quickly and evenly, ready in just over 4 weeks under normal conditions. Recommended for early planting for the home garden or market. Heirloom Radishes are a cool-season crop which grows best in spring and fall. They require 3 to 6 weeks from seeding to harvest. Sow seeds in early spring as soon as ground can be worked. Plant seeds every ten days until early summer and again about a month before frost. One ounce plants 100 ft.; five to eight pounds will sow an acre.
