Let's Make a Zine! 05/22/25

When: Thursday, May 22nd, 5:30-7:30pm Utilize your literary, visual, collage and paper folding abilities in the expansive medium of self-publishing known as zines! Have you heard of zines but want to know more? Have you wanted to make a zine but don't know where to start? Local zinester Heather Kennedy has been creating zines and doing community outreach through the Bend Zine Library for over a decade. Motivated by the democratizing power of self-publishing, she uses her personal stories to inspire others to put vulnerability to page. With the guidance of Heather's experience, paired with inspiring prompts and projects, our class will culminate in a collective zine on a topic of our selection.  All materials included, just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity! Ages 8+ *There is a 5 person minimum to run this workshop
