Chondrus crispus A burgundy hued algae that spreads like wildfire and floats like clouds suspended in the water. Splashed onto our sock weight 75% superwash merino 25% nylon blend yarn 4 ply, 463 yds, 100g, never from mulesing Hand dyed in Maine   Actual color may vary slightly due to hand dyeing process and lighting. It is always recommended to alternate skeins to avoid unwanted color pooling if a project requires more than one. Hanks can be wound into cakes for an additional fee. Not recommended for long term storage or for more than 3 hanks per order due to loss of integrity in the fiber from extended tension on the yarn.
