R. Variabilis - Southern

Ranitomeya Variabilis - Southern. By far our favorite Variabilis, the fluorescent coloring on the southern morph needs to be seen to believe! They are from the forest regions southwest of the Tarapoto valley. Variabilis are one of the best beginner thumbnail frogs. They can be kept in small groups and remain visible throughout the day. They are on the larger size for thumbnails, and lay large clutches.
