Ganesha, Standing Sculpture on Lotus Flower

This standing statue of Ganesha, in the form of a 4-arm human body with an elephant head, is one of the most beloved figures in Hindu mythology. Known as the Remover of Obstacles, he is in a relaxed standing position on top of a lotus flower. Ganesha is the deity whom worshipers first acknowledge when they visit a temple, start a new venture, or are in need of strength and wisdom to overcome a difficult time. Everyone needs a Ganesha in their lives! Hand cast mixture of bronze and brass, sculpted in the lost wax method, created in Central Java, Indonesia, with a golden antique finish.
