Pink and Grey Geometric Constructivist Wall Sculpture
This wall sculpture is based on an assembly of cut and superimposed geometric shapes. The colors – anthracite, gray, pink, and purple– are applied in flat, even tones without gradients, reinforcing the rigor of the composition. Each hue defines a volume, creating a sharp break between the planes. A pink, curved arc traverses part of the composition, standing out against an angular gray background. At the center, an openwork circle breaks the continuity of the planes, introducing a visual rupture. A long anthracite bar, tilted diagonally, intersects two black forms. Triangles and segments are interposed, some slipped beneath others, playing with depth and the layering of the whole. The work is organized around a tension between solid forms and negative spaces. The balance of the work rests on oppositions: between static and dynamic, between orthogonality and obliqueness, between solid and void. The assembly does not seek classical harmony but rather an active equilibrium, where each ele
