Madison Rubenstein ( is a visual artist from Bloomington, MN. They paint abstract and figurative works that reflect their experience living with chronic illness, being queer, and how these experiences intersect with their Jewish identity. Rubenstein’s work has been exhibited in several galleries and public spaces throughout Minnesota, including Co-Exhibitions, Anderson Center, Gamut Gallery and Public Functionary. In 2013 Rubenstein earned their BFA in Drawing & Painting from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In 2023 they received Arts Midwest Artists with Disabilities Grant which funded their first solo-exhibition entitled, “Too Much”.  Inkjet print in frame 12 X 15 inch2024
