Neelkantha Mala

  In Eastern Mystic lore, Shiva, God of Yogis, drinks poison in an act to save the Universe, which turns to nectar, giving him the name Neelkantha, the blue-throated one. The color blue and the Lapis Lazuli stone have since become associated with the Vishuddha or Throat Chakra, our seat of communication.  Lapis Lazuli is said to support the wearer in speaking their inner truth and transmuting negativity through the power of the word.
