Arno Declercq is a Belgium designer making sculptural objects with great passion for history, craft, design and atmosphere. A forest of table legs made out of 16 solid pieces of Iroko wood and a tabel top made out of African walnut, burned and waxed. A dining table for 6 persons. Iroko wood coming from Benin and locally called “the king of the forest” is a very spiritual wood for the Fon culture in Benin. They call a forest of Iroko trees “Zoumey”.
