Cave in Rock Switchgrass

Cave in Rock is a tall(6-7ft) variety of Switchgrass It is a long lived perennial Warm Season Native grass that provides excellent cover for all types of wildlife Cave in Rock does well mixed with other warm season grasses like the Bluestems and Indiangrass.  In a warm season grass mix, use lower rates of switchgrass, generally 1/2 lb. - 1 lb  per acre, due to smaller seed size Warm season grasses are notoriously slow to establish but are very long lived once they are established Does not require added fertilizer Before planting, get weeds under control.
