Hypericum densiflorum - Saint Johnswort

You will see bright yellow flowers for a couple of weeks in summer on finely-textured foliage. In Autumn the foliage turns a golden yellow  and as the shrub grows to its mature height of 3’ the smooth , bronze bark becomes visible. It tolerates filtered sun to shade and grows in a range of soils. It is sometimes called Bushy Saint Johnswort.  A nice feature of this shrub is that it keeps a uniform look without any pruning. It also spreads by underground roots. Sun-Semi-shade, Average Soil, Summer, 3’ Tall, Zones 5-9
