When we stumbled upon these dead-stock studs in a Manhattan warehouse, they were missing stones and bore signs of age, evoking the thrill of an archaeological discovery. In our studio, we revived these vintage castings—originally made in the 20th century—with careful cleaning and a worn gold finish. Each stud is crowned with a perfectly sized freshwater pearl, creating a blend of ancient charm and sustainable style.
