Saturday, November 22nd, 2pm-5:30pm Make and Take Kimchi Workshop - $89 per person Kimchi is the very traditional fermented cabbage side dish of Korean cuisine. Its unique flavor comes from chiles, garlic, ginger, and lots of red pepper that are mixed with cabbage and then undergoes lactic acid fermentation where it sours and becomes effervescent. In this class, Dave is going to start by talking about all the different ingredients used in Kimchi making and the entire process from picking the cabbage to fermentation. Then everyone is going to make 5# of their own FRESH kimchi from scratch to take home! This is a hands-on class. This class will be taught in our Workshop format.
