King Seiko 52KS Special Ref. 5245-6000 Men's Automatic Chronometer Watch

The 52KS series was the last King Seiko, produced by Daini Seikosha between 1971 and 1975. Suwa Seikosha and Daini Seikosha were the two internal segments of Seiko competing against each other in the high-end watch segment. Suwa Seikosha largely developed and produced Grand Seiko while Daini Seikosha developed and produced King Seiko. The 6000 were one-piece monoblock cases while the 7000 and 8000 cases had removeable screw backs.The 52KS is arguably the peak of the automatic King Seiko line.
