It is an integral frame lock knife that's machined from a solid billet of 6Al4V titanium. As is the case with any knife from Tony Marfione, the Anax is loaded with an array of features that give it an edge over other knives. The reasoning behind the integral handle is the idea that fewer parts adds greater reliability to the knife. In that same vein, the lock bar is serviceable and has a hardened 17-4 steel tip.
