From crafting video game concept art to analyzing city landscapes in popular games, students will explore the blend of real-life skate culture and its aesthetics. Utilizing Procreate, students will learn how to create really amazing backgrounds for concept art. Students will also sketch their own realms, drawing inspiration from Brooklyn's street art. This class also offers a deep dive into the diverse forms of local street art, from graffiti to sidewalk art. NOTE: this is not a skateboarding class, we will be observing the skateboard culture and street art with field trips.
