Victorian Double Rope Chain Slide Bracelet by Ancient Influences

A double rope chain bracelet with the prettiest blue-enameled slide detail. The slightly rosy chain is nice and supple. The slide is a curved rectangle that moves freely on the chains; its surface is delicately engraved and enameled with baby blue accents. A small matching terminal connects the chains to a spring ring clasp at one end of the bracelet, and the other connects with a jump ring. The back of the slide is hand engraved with the monogram "J.E.W." This lovely piece probably began its life as a Victorian guard chain; its new chapter is a compelling one. Circa 1860.
