The Coluna Vases from Origin Made showcase a remarkable fusion of form and texture. These handcrafted vases, a creation of master ceramicist João Lourenço, display a harmonious blend of strict geometric shapes and the tactile charm of textured clay. The innovative use of Pasta Grés Chamotada, where various grain sizes are artfully combined, gives the vases a distinct coarse quality akin to rammed earth. The dedication of João in experimenting with ceramic pastes and firing techniques has resulted in a material with earthy hues and a granular surface, adding to its unique appeal. Designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt, the Coluna Vases from Origin Made are not only functional but also visually captivating. With two different volumes, they accommodate both medium bouquets and larger arrangements, celebrating the beauty of nature in a distinctive way.
