ITEM DESCRIPTION: Being offered for sale is the antique SOCKET CHISEL by "T.H. WITHERBY" (weakly stamped/incised over "CAST STEEL" at top of chisel, see 2nd & 3rd pics), from circa the mid 19th century (limited, conflicting information found online about this company's history - possibly late 19th but as early as 1850), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES.
