The U-185B/G plug is attached to the cable assemblies and mate and unmate to the receptacles or other plugs by a mechanical locking cam mechanism. Basic size of connector and housing: Length: 13.13 inches Width: 2.44 inches Height: 2.75 inches Weight: 2.20 lbs. Hermaphrocon circuit redundancy assures that a missing or damaged contact in the contact pair will not cause the connector to fail. Mating and unmating by the mechanical cam mechanism on the connector housing also seals the housings during assembly. Cannot be mated improperly.
