Cold Process Soap Making Workshop

In this workshop, you'll learn the art of making cold-process soap safely and confidently from start to finish. This is an introductory class that covers ingredients, basic formulation theory, safety procedures and the cold process method.  Create a batch of 6 large bars of soap scented with certified clean scents or essential oils of your choosing. This workshop is hands-on so after a brief lesson, you'll become the soap maker!  Choose from the available dates listed and please note the minimum for a class is 3 people. If a minimum isn't met, the class will be rescheduled. All classes will be held on the farm. Bring an apron and a long sleeve shirt or something to cover arms as we will be working with caustic lye. Safety glasses and gloves will be provided. Age Requirement: Suitable for participants 12 and up; adult supervision is required for minors. Location: 2409 Joe Turner Ln.
