This beautiful chalkboard calendar is professionally designed, and is made to be used with chalk ink markers. It is not an actual chalkboard, but made to look like one. The surface is an amazing premium, non-glare acrylic. To erase, you simply wet a paper towel, wipe off ink, and dry with a dry paper towel. The ink erases completely, with no residue. 8 piece chalk ink marker set included!  This set has an extra fine tip for writing in small spaces. We include ALL needed hanging hardware to attach to each side of the back of the frame.
