The Red Cross Service Flag was issued to dues paying members and supporters of the American Red Cross during WWI. Additional smaller red cross stickers such as the one shown in the lower right hand corner on the Red Cross Service Flag in this poster were applied to denote additional family members supporting the cause by joining and paying dues.
