For this recruiting poster Barclay renders an image of a strapping young sailor with large canvas seabag slung effortlessly over his shoulder flashing a confident look. The sailor walks up the ramp to his ship as US Navy airplanes fill the sky above him with text below that reads Fight Let's Go! Join the NAVY. The artist signs his name in the image as McClelland Barclay USNR and the date 12-27-41 is printed in the lower margin. This vintage original WWII poster looks pretty well unused with no tape or pinholes and only light handling wear including a couple short half inch tears on the left edge toward the bottom not affecting the image area. The poster shows a very faint almost invisible trace of staining in the margin on the tip of the upper rig
