These posters were designed for use in schools and used to raise money toward the purchase of Jeeps for American forces fighting overseas. The poster indicates each Jeep costs $1,165 and illustrates 19 different essential Jeep parts such as Engine, Hood, Tires, Clutch and more. The price for each part shown totals $1,165. As the students raised funds they would cut out illustrations of the various parts off the companion sheet and past them onto the poster until they had raised the $1,165 needed to “send a Jeep down the ramp”.
