Identity. What a huge word in today's society! It's a huge topic discussed in our home too with our children! The identity we have been given in Jesus. Thankfully -- we serve a God who is UNCHANGING and whose love for us NEVER changes – on our best or worst days -- our God remains a fiercely-loyal promise-keeper to us! He is faithful even when we are not! Which means, our identity is ALWAYS secure, certain and sure. Through thick and thin, highs and lows, wins or losses -- we must BELIEVE Him at His Word! I'm trying to teach my kiddos to get into a regular rhythm of coming to Him just as you are and learning to replace lies we might be believing with the Truth. I discovered through my own struggles over the years that many of us don't know what God says about us or even who we really are under His umbrella of Truth!
