I don't often get to review wines with a little bottle age, so this was a treat. This superbly balanced wine is in a perfect spot right now, beginning with its aromas of briary raspberries and crushed brick dust. Cherry, orange-flavored pipe tobacco and lemon zest flavors glide along a silky smooth palate. Enjoy this wine from tonight until 2027. — Michael Alberty
