COURAGE -Psalm 31:24

THE TRUTH BEHIND THE SCRIPTURE COURAGE definition... mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. The Hebrew word for COURAGE translates as, to be strong, alert, courageous, brave, stout, bold, solid, hard. God will STRENGTHEN our heart.  STRENGTHEN translates as, prevail, harden, be strong, become strong, be courageous, be firm, grow firm, be resolute. Our HEART, in Hebrew, means the inner man, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding, mind, knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory, inclination, resolution, determination (of will), conscience, heart (of moral character), the seat of emotions and passions .  This defining of our heart shows how important the condition of our "heart" must be.  Our "heart" defines our very character and who we really are. The qualifier of whose heart God will strengthen is the word HOPE.  We must have hope in God, which translates as to wait, hope, expect,  hope for.  This involves both faith and patience. The
