Patch - Joint Operations Ruck
Everyone knows that good ideas can come from anywhere. And this month’s Ruck Club Callout came as a suggestion from Greg Williams, the leader of Blue Ridge Ruck Club in Sterling, VA. It pays homage to GORUCK's Special Forces heritage. The Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) is a sub-unified command of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). JSOC partners the CIA with other covert units like the Army’s Delta Force, the Navy’s SEAL Team 6, the Air Force’s 24th Special Tactics Squadron, and the Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and 75th Ranger Regiment. Together, they are able to accomplish missions that could not have been done on their own. Welcome to the Joint Operations Ruck. Service projects have long been part of GORUCK’s guiding principles, and we’re tapping into that history with this callout, but with one small change: you must team up with one or more Ruck Clubs to help your community. That’s your mission. Partner up with one or more Ruck Club
