Passiflora incarnata - Purple Passionflower

This perennial, native to southeastern North America, is best known for its unique, vibrant flower, which blooms from summer to early fall. This rapid-growing, climbing vine grows best in sunny conditions and is drought-tolerant. Starting in July, edible fruits start showing and ripen in the fall, attracting wildlife.
