Symphyotrichum pilosum - Frost Aster

  Symphyotrichum pilosum, commonly known as frost aster is an herbaceous perennial that typically grows to 4’ tall and as wide. Flowers in branching from summer to fall and each flower features white rays that surround a center pale yellow disc. Flowers are followed by fruit.  Works well in borders, open woodland areas and cottage gardens in mass or group.
