Cruse Wine Company's Sparkling St. Laurent Rosé from Ricci Vineyard in Carneros is a distinctive expression of the Austrian St. Laurent grape, cultivated by Dale Ricci for over 25 years. The vineyard's proximity to the San Pablo Bay provides a cool climate ideal for this varietal.The 2021 vintage was hand-harvested, destemmed, and briefly macerated before undergoing a gentle press cycle. Fermentation began spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and was completed in-bottle, following the pétillant naturel method. After six months the wine was disgorged without any additions.This rosé presents a vibrant hue, with aromas of ripe peach. The palate offers a soft mousse and a creamy, slightly off-dry finish, making it an easy-drinking and engaging sparkling wine.With an alcohol content of 10%, this sparkling rosé is versatile for various occasions, pairing well with shellfish, lean fish, and as an aperitif.
