Jay Kreimer & Bryan Day: Invented Instruments, Electronics. These pieces were recorded in October 2022 during a visit by Bryan Day to India during Jay Kreimer's second Fulbright fellowship. Seeded Plain performed at a stepwell temple near the campus of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, at the Saptaparni cultural association in Hyderabad and at a machine shop at the Srishti Institute in Banagalore. Jay Kreimer is an improvising musician, instrument inventor and sound artist. He has been creating new musical instruments for nearly 30 years. He performs internationally, throughout North America, across Europe and in China and in India. In 2013, he returned to India on a Fulbright fellowship to document street wedding bands. In March 2011, he was a finalist in the Guthman musical instrument invention competition. He has performed with Bryan Day as Seeded Plain for more than 15 years and the Mighty Vitamins for 20 years.
