
Quinta do Infantado Late Bottled Vintage Porto, 750ml
This ruby-colored wine boasts deep, almost opaque tones and aromas of black cherries, plums, and dark chocolate on the nose. On the palate, it displays a fresh and fruity flavor profile with a spicy edge, perfectly balanced by round and ripe tannins. The finish is medium-dry with delicate perfumes of warm and ripe fruit. Made from a blend of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz, as well as old vines of mixed varieties, sourced exclusively from 9 hectares of Class A parcels in Serra Douro and Castelos on poor schist soils. The 50+ year old vines were hand-harvested, partially destemmed, and fermented in lagar before being stopped with 77-degree wine brandy. The wine was then aged for 4 years in both tonel and balseiro, tall wooden tanks ranging from 3,000-60,000 liters with thick staves that slow down Type: Fortified Wine, Port Country: Portugal Alc%: 19.5 Proof: 39 Vintage: 2018
