Autism Adults 6 Week Pottery Wheel | Thursdays 1pm-2pm May 22nd - June 26th

Class Description This weekly class is designed to give students with autism aged 18+ a therapeutic and fun experience at the pottery studio. Comprehensive instruction will be provided to learn how to use the pottery wheel as well as hand-building techniques such a as coil building, slab rolling and pinch pots. This class is designed to be repeated, allowing students to grow their throwing, trimming, and glazing skills at their own pace.  No prior experience is needed for this weekly class. We introduce each step slowly to optimize learning and retention of skills week over week.
